Spanish musical voice actress
Miryam Camacho
I am Miryam Camacho, a Spanish musical voice-over artist and singer (soprano) with a professional home studio.
In my musical dubbing demo, you’ll hear sweet Disney princesses such as Rapunzel, Moana, Elsa, Anna and Belle; the cries of Éponine and Fantine in Les Misérables; villains such as Mother Gothel and Madam Mim; and the duo of Candace and Vanessa in Phineas and Ferb.
Dubbing of songs and soundtracks
Performing a song as part of an audiovisual project is not just about singing; it is about acting through the melody. My technique allows me to retain the essence of the original character, whilst adapting my breathing, musical lip-syncing and acting intent to the demands of the score and the musical direction.
🎬 Animated and live-action films:
Voice-over for key musical numbers in which the character expresses their motivations through song. I bring the emotional depth and technical skill required to ensure that the transition between speaking and singing is seamless and believable.
🎶 Opening and closing themes:
Performance of opening and closing themes. Thanks to my soprano range, I can hit the high notes and capture the characteristic energy of the theme tunes, whilst maintaining the rhythm and the adapted arrangement of the original theme.
🧸 Children’s entertainment:
Dynamic, educational and clear-voiced singing. Perfect for educational songs, nursery rhymes or catchy tunes aimed at a young audience, requiring impeccable diction and a cheerful tone.
🎤 Jingles and music for adverts:
Voice-over work for jingles and corporate tunes. I convey the spirit of the brand with a professional, well-tuned and persuasive female voice, ideal for radio, television or digital media campaigns.
Auditions for musical dubbing vocalists
To bring these musical pieces to life, I offer a well-trained, versatile voice with rigorous technical control. My training in vocal technique, singing and pre-university choirs enables me to focus my main vocal ranges on:
🎼 Lyric and light soprano:
Ability to hit high notes with clarity and brilliance, ideal for classic female characters, fairies or young protagonists in fantasy worlds.
🎭 Character singing:
The ability to ‘distort’ or alter the singing voice to suit the character’s needs (hoarse voices for villains, childlike tones for girls or animals), always prioritising the performance over purely musical aesthetics.
🗣️ Mixed voice and belting:
Control over the transition from chest voice to head voice for performing more modern, pop or light rock songs, which are common in the soundtracks of current animated and youth-oriented TV series.
📚 Backing vocals and harmonies:
My choral experience enables me to record backing tracks, backing vocals and precise harmonies to enrich the final mix of the track.
